This package is perfect for the couple that would prefer an intimate elopement ‘Legals Only’ style ceremony. It is a requirement by law, that two witnesses over the age of 18 years, must also be present.

Bookings
I offer all my prospective clients a free ‘Meet and Greet’ appointment of up to 1 hour. This can take place either at your residence or mine in Berwick. Alternatively, we can meet at a cafe or public space. All bookings require a $250 non-refundable deposit, with remaining balance to be paid no less than 7 days prior to the ceremony.
Additional fees
A $65 fee for purchase of your legal registered marriage certificate from Births, Deaths and Marriages.

FAQs
What are the legal requirements for getting married in Australia?
You must not be married to another person
You cannot be marrying a parent, grandparent, child, brother or sister.
You must be at least 18 years of age, unless a court has approved a marriage where one person is 16-18 years old.
You must understand what marriage is and freely agree to marry.
You must give a Notice of Intended Marriage form, (NOIM) to an authorised marriage celebrant at least 1 month and no more than 18 months before your wedding.
You must be married by an authorised marriage celebrant.
You must have 2 witnesses present that are over the age of 18 years.
If you are getting married in less than a month, a prescribed authority may be able to approve a wedding with short notice, in limited circumstances.
